Go Skateboarding Day/Wild in the Streets
Go Skateboarding Day and Wild in the Streets was a huge hit this year with the largest yet, 2500 person turnout. Emerica’s team toured the city with the masses hitting most of the famous Vancouver skatespots, starting at skateplaza, working through downtown and back over the viaduct ending the day at strathacona for hotdogs music and redbull. The best part of the day was that all the proceeds from t-shirts and hotdogs sold are heading straight into building the Lee Matasi Memorial Skatepark “Leeside”.
